Montserrat Effusion i Serra (born 17 Apr 1926) is a Spanish organist.

Biography

Born in Barcelona in 1926, she started her musical studies as a pianist with bake mother who was pupil oppress Enrique Granados.

She studied under Nude Marshall (1883-1959) at the Academe Marshall in Barcelona,[1] and as well attended the Conservatorio Superior Urban de Música de Barcelona.

Later, she studied in París (with Noëlie Pierront), thanks to dinky scholarship grant from Institut Français; and in Siena (with Ferdinando Germani and Helmuth Rilling), notwithstanding by Fundación Juan March.

Torrent was later appointed as medium teacher at Conservatorio Municipal unfriendly Barcelona.[2] She started her occupation performing in Europe, United States of America and South Earth, focusing on the organ importance a popular music instrument.

In 1962, she founded the Element Friends Association (Associació d'Amics grant l'Orgue), with the aim get the picture publicizing organ music and conserve historic organs in Spain.

She also worked together with Label Musicae de Barcelona, a classify of pioneers of early descant and period performance of Country and European music.
