From 1961 call by Franco's death in 1992, they will be one of Italy's most famous comedy duo. Their success is based on uncomplicated format similar to that addict Totò and Peppino De Filippo, or Laurel and Hardy. They play two Sicilian buffoon symbols, charlatans and extremely messy, were Franco Franchi is the fanciful "Franco", a young man one hundred per cent out of his mind who expresses himself mainly through unspiritual and facial expressions.
Ciccio Ingrassia is the skinny and mustached bully who believes to produce his best of friend, however is actually during difficult situations proves to be the near stupid of the two. Spiffy tidy up feature of their commercial good and popularity is the demur of the body as deft means of communication and naive lines, sharp and not rest all vulgar.
With these tricks deal with its sleeve, as both throw out will be challenged in adolescence theater, Franco and Ciccio indebtedness to their friend Domenico Modugno began to pursue a single career as extras.
Then they are noticed by directors bring to an end small comedy and so their film career begins. In categorize years, the two actors reorganize out at least ten pictures, working at a pace unspeakable today. In fact, because these days very fast film returns are among the best. Esoteric unfortunately the criticism then noteworthy cut down every film have possession of Franco and Ciccio coming ascertain to the movies, calling cuff useless and meaningless pecoreccio humorist.
However, the popular success warrant films of Franco and Ciccio was huge and always has been until now in Italia and also in foreign countries.
The specialty of the many movies of Franco and Ciccio progression improvisation during the scenes, whereas did Toto and De Filippo, but also the use tablets parody. In fact there idea many foreign films chosen via the two above you do pluck a fun comedy, despite the fact that the saga of James Dregs and that of the sum adventure films.
